Public Speaking summary of 2016

Just back from Warsaw, where I was invited as a speaker at a B2B Marketing Conference. My last Conference before the Summer break.

It was a very productive first half of the year from what public speaking concerns: I spoke at 5 Conferences. 4 Marketing and 1 Finance. Most requested topics: Content Marketing, B2B vs. B2C, Social Media, Social Media in specific sectors (utilities), Lead Gen, Persona Analysis. I presented in Lisbon, London, Amsterdam, Warsaw.

I met some recognised experts in Content Marketing: Joe Pulizzi, the god-father (of CM), Doug Kessler, Robert Rose. I had a drink with Allen Garrett, CEO of TrackMaven,  talking about European vs. American standard of living; I met Joe Coleman, CEO of Contently; Shaft Islam, CEO of Newscred and had a breakfast in London with James Gross, CEO of Percolate (who shares my passion for blogs and code, since the early years).

Six new Conferences in Reykjavik, London, Amsterdam, Dublin will make me super busy in the last 4 months of 2016.

I red 2 books about public speaking and watched an endless number of TED talks videos. I attended 1 seminar and 1 book launch, both in London. The latter was Chris Anderson’s last book presentation. Chris is the founder of TED Talks as we know it today.

Not so bad as a first half of the year…
